差 傳 代 禱 消 息
(二零一零年二月、三月)

一. 梁健民、周慧嫦宣教士夫婦(哥斯達黎加工場)
  1. 感謝神的恩典,為期一年的戒賭課程已順利完成!於二月10日之新春晚會上,舉辦第一期戒賭課程結業禮。請記念這一期的學員,求神堅固其戒賭心志,更進一步與神建立美好關係;同時記念該結業禮,讓神的名得著榮耀,並激勵更多人願意參加「三出團契」,學習走戒賭路。
  2. 為了更深入探討在委內瑞拉開展華人戒賭事工,健民和慧嫦於二月11日至三月22日再訪委國,跟進去年八月之行的個案。請記念其旅程和事奉。
  3. 健康上,健民比前進步,為此感恩!慧嫦仍有間歇性偏頭痛,求主憐憫醫治,保守二人身心靈健壯!
二. 何以嵩、馬小芸宣教士夫婦(泰北工場)
  1. 感謝主,三位短宣同工分別於二月3日和三月29日結束在中心的支援宣教事奉,求神堅立她們手所作的工,並引領她們前面的路。
  2. 請記念以下來訪者:美國退休傳道人李悌華老師於一月25日至二月14日到訪;母會基督之家第五家阮雄長老及師母於二月2-4日到訪;香港陸紫鳴老師於二月12-21日農曆新年假到訪,為恩慈之家舉行周末音樂營;台北美仁浸信會短宣隊於二月13-20日一行七人,為晨光學校舉行第四屆中文週。請記念以上各項籌備工作。
  3. 請記念二、三月份一連串的活動:二月13日挪亞團契舉行「愛的實踐」關懷愛滋病人遊行,派發福音及有關愛滋病單張;二月14日下午青年團到清萊探訪兒童愛滋病中心,藉神的話語、詩歌、遊戲與兒童分享神的愛;二月24日和三月17日的行區禱告日,求神賜同工有忍耐的心志,為泰民的得救禱告;三月9-11日的初中一、二年級學生的福音營、29-31日的幼稚級至小學三年級兒童聖經班,求神使用這些學生營會,使學員得著屬天的福份。
  4. 請記念中心仍需以下同工,求神差派:晨光學校需要兩位教師、一位傳道同工;兒童事工部、頌讚宿舍和恩慈之家均需全職同工。
  5. 小芸十二月曾患肝炎,求主憐憫醫治,也讓小芸能接受自己的限制,學習放下並交託。同時記念何牧師,除了需要擔負小芸許多的工作外,二月27日和三月27日需乘夜車至曼谷教會講道,求神賜體力。
三. 郭麗思宣教士(澳門工場)
  1. 請繼續記念麗思的年邁雙親,二人身體健康均每況愈下,特別是父親,常因身體的軟弱而情緒不穩;求主藉麗思述職時對父母的照顧,成為雙親決志信主的媒介,得享天福!
  2. 麗思將於三月中開始述職至六月中。此次述職,希望能在港花點時間照顧雙親,麗思只在五月份返回三藩市灣區,在支持教會中分享,盼各肢體能體諒,並繼續以禱告和行動支持在港各項宣教事工。
  3. 台山學生服務中心至今仍缺行政同工,且有兩位補習導師已提出請辭。求主供應所需人手,使麗思在述職期間,不會加添代職宣教同工的負擔。
四. 譚美蘭宣教士(菲律賓工場—現在香港進行本土任務)
  1. 感謝主,菲傭聖誕佈道會雖只來了八位新朋友,但八位都決志;請繼續為美蘭對他們的跟進與栽培代禱。同時,由於印尼傭工大幅增加,美蘭希望在今年也開展印傭的福音事工,請在禱告中記念。
  2. 美蘭身體出現的硬塊比前縮小,在此獻上感恩,雖是抵抗力差,但精神尚佳。但由於近來常常盜汗,導致換衣不便,並且幾月前的感冒,至今仍未完全康復,請繼續在禱告中代求。
  3. 美蘭在港的本土任務將於今年年底結束,請為新任期的事奉工場在主前守望,求神引領。
五. 甘秀麗宣教士(澳門工場)
  1. 感謝主!在去年年底經歷了同工及親人離世的傷痛,主恩夠用,因著您們的代禱,使秀麗的心緒能逐漸平伏;也求主使秀麗腳傷早日痊癒!
  2. 求主保守信主的工友們在春節返鄉後,不偏離主道,為主作美好見證;同時求主賜秀麗能善用春節年假的時間。工福中心尚需同工,求主早日差派適合人選,同心服事。
  3. 在新的一年賜印尼國家國泰民安,保守秀麗家人身心安康、靈命長進!
六. 饒陳佩筠宣教士(香港工場,中信當地宣教士—香港基督教更新會)
  1. 從今年一月開始,佩筠擔負更新會「亞尼西母綜合訓練」的統籌,帶領一批願意接受裝備,又有事奉心志的更生人(釋囚),幫助他們突破成長和有長遠的人生目標方向,並在隊工中能承擔和發展更生人的團契事工。
  2. 感謝主興起更生人願意服事主!目前已有兩位更生人願意委身在宿舍事工,另亦在禱告中思考未來女性宿舍的運作和訓練模式。更求主大大使用未來的宿舍,幫助女性更生人重整生命!
  3. 佩筠於二月陪伴女兒前往澳洲升讀大學,並逗留一個月。請記念她女兒的適應、學習和教會生活,能建立更愛主的心,同時佩筠在該段期間得著休息,在主裡重新得力。
七. 黃恩德、李妍嬡宣教士夫婦(馬來西亞工場,中信當地宣教士—全人關懷團隊)
  1. 馬來西亞教會因在聖經中使用了阿拉伯文「上帝」字眼而導致宗教衝突,致使有教會和教會學校遭受攻擊。目前教會領袖正積極與政府相關單位會談。請代禱,求神賜華人教會有智慧為主護教,也有愛心成為穆民的鄰舍。
  2. 「全人」正尋找十所願意一同推展社區服務的華人教會,以台灣「1919」關懷中心的模式,為社區舉辦「陪讀班」,回應急難家庭以及災難群體的需要,求神預備有此異象與信心的策略伙伴教會。
  3. 感謝神保守,差派前往四川地震災區的兩位短期宣教的姊妹以及前往台灣實習的儲備同工平安歸來!為他們生命被提升而感恩!目前正物色另外兩位志(義)工前往四川實習,請代禱記念!
八. 謝學良、吳美香宣教士夫婦(太平洋工場)
  1. 謝牧師、師母因仍需要協助芝加哥的教會,故延至二月10日才返回夏威夷;期間,帶領了九人信主,求主讓他們在主裡日漸成長。請繼續為他們的事奉和身體健康代禱。
  2. 請為在夏威夷中信福音中心及Salt Lake區的查經班感恩禱告!新加盟的宣教士Harry & Virginia Lau於一月底從加拿大前來夏威夷服事。請記念他們的工作簽證能早日批出,並找到合適的房子。
九. 中信海外差傳部
  1. 感謝主,耀光正式成為中信海外差傳部同工,與溫牧師一同配搭,求神賜予智慧與力量,能夠和教會、宣教士及宣教工場有美好的聯繫與配搭。
  2. 感謝主,今年本部推展的短宣隊,各隊得到許多教會、弟兄姊妹的熱烈回應;包括澳門、委內瑞拉、哥斯達黎加、貝里斯以及緬甸等工場。目前有九隊已確定成隊,兩隊還再確認中,求神保守各隊的籌備和訓練工作,讓短宣不但能加強參與之教會和隊員的異象和負擔,同時也成為當地教會、華僑和當地居民的祝福。
  3. 感謝主,「華人宣教學會」提供的宣教學學分課程之第一個課程已經圓滿結束,求神保守學員們,能對所學,加以反省與應用。接著四月間的課程由朱昌錂牧師教授「宣教學概論」,也請繼續代禱。有關報名以及費用詳情可致電本會(707-762-1314)溫以壯牧師或大使命中心(408-636-0030)陳惠文博士查詢。
Missions Prayer News
(February-March 2010)

I. Derek and Sindy Leung (Costa Rica)
  1. Thank God that the one-year gambling rehabilitation program has come to completion! A graduation ceremony will be held during Chinese New Year Celebration on February 10. Please pray for determination for these first graduates and their growing relationship with God. Pray that God’s name be gloried at the graduation ceremony and more people will be encouraged to attend the 3-Outlets Fellowship to be freed from gambling.
  2. In order to further explore the gambling rehabilitation ministries among the Chinese in Venezuela, Derek and Sindy will visit Venezuela again from 2/11 to 3/22 to follow-up on the cases from last year. Please pray for their trip and ministries.
  3. Thank God that Derek’s health has improved! Sindy still has migraine headache occasionally. Please pray for God’s healing and the couple’s physical, emotional and spiritual well being!
II. Rev. & Mrs. Santisatitpong (Northern Thailand)
  1. Pray for God’s healing to Mrs. Santisatitpong for her hepatitis contracted in last December. Please also pray for Rev. Santisatitpong as he has to bear his wife’s work load and also preach in Bangkok on 2/27 and 3/27 via night coach.
  2. Please remember the following visitors in February, 1/25 to 2/14 : Retired Minister Ti Wah Lee from US visiting; 2/2 to 2/4 : Elder and Mrs. Hung Yuen from our mother church Home of Christ #5; 2/12 to 2/21 : Teacher Chi Ming Luk from Hong Kong visiting during Chinese New Year leading the weekend Music Camp for House of Grace; 2/13 to 2/20 : a group of seven from Tai Pei Mei Ran Baptist Church short-term mission team visiting conducting the fourth Chinese week for Morning Light School. Please pray for the preparation work for all these events.
  3. Please pray for activities in February and March, on 2/13 Noah Fellowship will conduct a parade to show care for AIDS patients and will distribute Gospel and AIDS awareness tracts; on 2/14 the Youth Fellowship will visit the Children’s AIDS Center in Ching Rai and will share God’s love with the children through God’s Words, songs and games; on 2/24 and 3/17 we will have a prayer walk for the salvation to the Thai people. We will have a Gospel Camp for the 7th and 8th graders from 3/9 to 3/11 and a Bible Class for Kindergarteners to 3rd graders from 3/29 to 3/31.
III. Miss Jennifer Kwok (Macau)
  1. Jennifer will be on furlough from mid-March to mid-June, she will visit San Francisco Bay Area in May.
  2. Please continue to pray for Jennifer’s aging parents. The health of both of her parents is deteriorating. Especially for Jennifer’s father, he often becomes emotionally unstable because of his poor health. Please pray that God will use Jennifer as a catalyst for her parents’ salvation as she cares for them during her furlough.
  3. Toi Shan Student Service Center is still in need of an administrative staff. Two other tutors also resigned. Please pray for God-sent workers so that the interim missionary will not be overloaded while Jennifer is away on furlough.
IV. Miss Helen Tam (Philippines—currently serving in Hong Kong)
  1. Thank God that although only 8 new Philippine maids attended the Christmas Evangelistic Event, all accepted Christ. Please continue to pray for Helen for her follow-up ministries with them. Helen also wants to reach out to the Indonesian maids this year for that population is exploding. Please remember that in your prayer.
  2. Thank God that the lump on Helen’s body has shrunk. Although her immune system is weak, her stamina is okay. Please pray for her as she sweat a lot lately and is still recovering from the flu she contracted a few months ago.
  3. Helen’s assignment in Hong Kong will be completed by the end of this year. Please pray for her future direction.
V. Miss Lydia Kam (Macau)
  1. Pray that God will bless Indonesia in this New Year and also for the well being and spiritual growth of Lydia’s family members!
  2. Pray that the laborers we minister to have good testimonies as they return home in China.
  3. Our Center still needs workers. May God send the right people so that we can work together in unity.
VI. Miss Susan Chan (Hong Kong, CCM Local Missionary—Hong Kong Christian Kun Sun Association)
  1. Please pray for Susan as she will be coordinating the Onesimus Training Program for Kun Sun Association beginning January of this year. She will be leading a group of ex-prisoners who are willing to be equipped to serve the Lord, to help them grow spiritually and have direction in life and continue in the development of the ex-prisoners ministries.
  2. Thank God for calling ex-prisoners to sever Him! Right now we have two ex-prisoners who have committed to serve in the dormitory.
  3. Susan will accompany her daughter to go to Australia in February to attend college and will stay there for one month. Please pray for her daughter’s adjustment to the new environment and church life and her heart for God.
VII. Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Wong (Malaysia, CCM Local Missionary–Holistic Ministry Team)
  1. Churches and Christian schools in Malaysia are under attack as the Bible uses the Arabic word “God.” Church leaders are now actively dialoguing with respective government unit. Pray that God will give Chinese churches wisdom to defend for their faith and love to be the Muslims’ neighbors.
  2. The Holistic Ministry Team is looking for ten Chinese churches that are willing to develop community services with them. They will go after the model of Care Center in Taiwan, and provide tutoring classes for the community to meet the needs of those affected families and victims. Please pray that God will provide strategic partners that share the same vision.
  3. Thank God that the two short-term missionaries who were sent to Szechuan earthquake area and the intern sent to Taiwan have safely returned home. Please pray with us as we are looking for two new interns to go to Szechuan.
VIII. Rev. & Mrs. Shue L. Hsie (Pacific Areas)
  1. Rev. and Mrs. Hsie have to delay their return to Hawaii till 2/10 since they are still helping the church in Chicago. They have brought 9 people to Christ during this time. Please pray for the new converts’ growth and for their ministries and health.
  2. The new missionary couple Harry and Virginia Lau will arrive in Hawaii from Canada in late January. Pray that they will get their VISA, find the right house and adjust to the new culture.
IX. CCM Foreign Missions Department
  1. Thank God that Yao Kuang Liu has joined Rev. Wan to work in the CCM Foreign Missions Department. Pray that God will give him wisdom and strength to work effectively with churches, missionaries and mission fields.
  2. Thank God that the short-term mission trips promoted this year received warm support from many churches and brothers and sisters. Trips include Macau, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Belize and Burma. Currently nine teams have already been confirmed and two more are being organized. Please pray that God will continue to guide us in our preparation and training work so that the short-term missions will not only broaden the vision of churches and members, but will also be a blessing to local churches and residents.
