Brother Yao Kuang Liu is son of a pastor, and he endured a lot of pressure in school and church when he was young because he was measured with a different standard. He felt neglected by his parents who were so busy serving at church. While he could go his own way when grown up, God already had a plan for him. When he was eighteen years old in high school he went to a discipleship retreat, and God inspired him with the life of Moses. He repented and dedicated himself to obey God's plan for his own life. God led him step by step, equipped him, and molded him. Gradually he saw his future direction with a sense of mission. He offered his talents and gifts to God for cross culture missionary work.

Yi Ching Lin's faith was mainly influenced by her mother. She loved music since she was young, and she attended a music college after high school. She dedicated herself to live for the Lord in the campus Christian fellowship. During her senior year when she attended the youth mission conference with the theme of "Serving with Profession", she was deeply moved to dedicate her gift of music to serving the Lord. After graduation she became teacher for years and pay was getting better. God called her again with message from the book of Isaiah, "Whom shall I send?" She totally surrendered to God to walk the first step of faith and let God to lead her way.

Yao Kuang and Yi Ching were again confirmed of their calling at a missionary consultation conference. They felt the need of theological training in order to be better used by God. Under God's guidance they went to Singapore Bible College to complete master degrees in divinity and theology. Yao Kuang and Yi Ching were commissioned to serve in Myanmar in November 7, 2004 and they went with two infant sons Sing Mu and Sing Chiao. Praise the Lord that they were blessed with a third son Sing Yun the next year.
