Mrs. Susan Yew became local missionary of CCMUSA in 2005. She attended Christian schools from primary to high school and she liked Christianity, but she did not know the Truth until she went to Canada for college and got involved in the student fellowship. She accepted Christ before long. She believed in the reality of God, and she was grateful for His love. She felt that God is close to her since she has accepted Christ and she recognized more and more her sins and the importance of persisting repentance.

She discovered the happiest thing for her was to see others accept Christ and have their lives changed. She later dedicated her life to the Lord. She equipped herself with two years of theological training and two years of counseling training. She also served two years in a Christian organization. In 1991 she clearly knew she wanted to enter into full time ministry, and God led her to Hong Kong Christian Kun Sun Association. In 1996 God inspired on her that prison ministry was her calling for life. God had been renewing her vision of ministry among female prisoners, and God used a special way to confirm her calling: The prison department issued a special Visitor Pass to her so that she could enter prisons for female without company of a prison officer.
